Two parish bulletins
Two four-page issues every week, for St. Andrew in Yellville and Mary Mother of God in Harrison. More than 120 issues. Never late.
The problem. Mary Mother of God's bulletin was sixteen pages of Word. Every element had a different weight. Pictures sat in corners, photos were stretched to fit, and the ads had been printed and scanned back in. St. Andrew's needed the same fix at a smaller scale.
What I built. A brand guide for each parish, built around the mark it already had. The marks are theirs; the type, colour and layout are mine. Each issue is four pages on a three-column grid, with a fixed place for the Mass times, the contacts and the ministries, and a back page for the ad partners' rebuilt ads. The July 2025 issue below is week one of the new system, with the same content as the old sixteen pages.
How it runs. Copy arrives Tuesday. The issue goes out Wednesday as a screen PDF and a print spread. Revisions, now rare, come Thursday. New images and a new reflection every week. The layout holds.
